I installed the latest version of STM32IDE on Mac (Ventura 13.2.1 (22D68))

the interface opens without problems. When instead I try to create a new project, a satellite update program opens and everything closes (crash), I can't get out of it.
I add STM32CubeMX tag since these updates are initiated by MX, not STM32CubeIDE directly.
To ease the analysis could you share the related Crash Report if any ? Launch the Console application and navigate to Crash Reports from the left panel.
In the meantime you can try to put the MX firmware update in offline mode, and confirm if this workarounds the crash. The option can be found in Preferences > STM32Cube > Firmware Updater (a restart of STM32CubeIDE might be then required).
