We are pleased to announce to you that the release 6.13.0 of STM32CubeMX is available.

What is new in 6.13.0:

  • Added support for the following series, microcontrollers and microprocessors: STM32N6, STM32U3, STM32WL3x, STM32G411xx and STM32C0
  • Added the support for the following Nucleo boards: NUCLEO-N657X0-Q, NUCLEO-C051C8, NUCLEO-C092RC, NUCLEO-U385RG-Q, NUCLEO-WL33CC1 and NUCLEO-WL33CC2
  • Added the support for a new Discovery kits and a new expansion boards: STM32N6570-DK and B-WBA5M-WPAN
  • Extended the implementation of the CMake and Makefile build generators taking into account the memory management tool (MMT) features:
    • Single-core microcontrollers without Arm® TrustZone®(a), excluding STM32H7Rx/7Sx, or with disabled TrustZone®
    • Dual-core microcontrollers without TrustZone® (such as in the STM32H7 series)
  • Add the support of the memory management tool on STM32H7 dual-core and STM32WBA5Mxx microcontrollers
  • Added the compare projects feature to make user able to differentiate between two STM32CubeMX project files across different microcontrollers and microprocessors.
  • Implemented the loading of the firmware or applications code from the external memory (EXTMEMLOADER) using the OpenBootloader interface for STM32H7Rx/7Sx.

There is no Errata for v6.13.0:

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.A complex system designed from scratch never works and cannot be patched up to make it work.

When downloaded the latest version here - https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stm32cubemx.html, ant unzip it on Ubuntu, got these:

unzip en.*.zip
Archive: en.stm32cubemx-lin-v6-12-0.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of en.stm32cubemx-lin-v6-12-0.zip or
en.stm32cubemx-lin-v6-12-0.zip.zip, and cannot find en.stm32cubemx-lin-v6-12-0.zip.ZIP, period.

how to fix it?

Hello Semer Cherni,

STM32CubeMX 6.13.0 "Known problems and limitations" fails to point out that dual-core mcus are still not fully supported (development and debugging)

Please see: https://community.st.com/t5/stm32cubemx-mcus/stm32h7-dual-core-support/td-p/215764

Not having all the boot modes defeats the purpose of having CubeMX because the changes have to be manually remade in the IDE everytime a small change is made in CubeMX.
