User Labels ... sticky/pinable/lockable?

When I change a pin configuration, the user-label I'd previously given the pin is removed and it reverts to the default.

That seems to me to be a wrong behaviour ... I think it should stick be default, or should have an option to lock it.

This was raised by Arnold Bischoff back in 2016 and seemed acknowledged, but I think nothing has since happened on it.
