Request to Change License MAC Address from Ethernet to Wi-Fi

Hi,

I need to change the licensed MAC address for my SPC software.
It was previously registered with my Ethernet MAC address, but now I’d like to use my Wi-Fi MAC address instead.

Could you please let me know how to update or reissue the license for this change?

Hi there,
if the error you are facing is related to your "Free Hightec license" then:

1) go to https://register.hightec-rt.com/st/spc5x/

2) open command prompt

3) type:  ipconfig/all

4) find your MAC address

5) fill the following prompt with the correct informations and generate:

6) Copy the generated license in:   C:\AutoDevKitStudio-2.6.1\licenses

to verify, check RLM_LICENSE from your environmental variables.

 

Otherwise, you can use ppc-freevle-gcc for your application, you do not need the license hightec to run AutoDevKit or flash your boards.
