  I am currently evaluating a power line carrier (PLC) communication solution and plan to use the ST8500. The client’s equipment is quite densely packed, with several hundred units, and requires auxiliary communication via the power line to promptly detect equipment failures and crashes. The estimated node capacity needs to reach 1,000. These 1,000 units are distributed within a high-voltage transformer, which cannot be expanded or relocated.   According to the description in the ST Smart Grid Products brochure, the ST8500 can support a network of up to 1,200 nodes. This raises the first question: are these nodes connected directly to a concentrator, or do they require repeaters to forward signals to the final concentrator? Do the repeaters need to be isolated from one another by transformers?   The client has a large number of devices, some of which have very high time-sensitivity requirements. We have followed single conversion mode as outlined in: L9966 lambda sensor interface – rev. 1.0.0 1 L9966 lambda sensor interface Application Note. But the result register is all zeros.Is there anything missing?The register nameing is not consistant datasheet has DWT_VOLT_SRC_LSF_CTRL, but app note DWT_VOLT_SRC_CTRL.The sequencer mode works fine. 

HiI am new to the I2C communications. I am trying to communicate to the IMS330dlc chip. I am using a lab jack U3-HV.. I am programming this via Visual Studio 2022 using c# code. Hello everyone, I find your new product, the ST87M01-1301, an interesting alternative to Nordic or Simcom. However, I haven't found any hardware design guides for the module yet. Could you please provide some? A schematic would be really helpful, showing how to wire the pins and connect the SIM card, antennas, etc. What is the maximum current draw of the module? If you have any battery management products, how can they be used together (for example: BMS + STM-Host MCU + ST87M01 – an example schematic would be great) so that people can use your specifications as a guide and build their own prototypes with your modules. I really like how Simcom handles their documentation; you could certainly learn from their example. Currently, your documentation for the module is a bit chaotic and incomplete, as if it were done by an intern. Many greetings,Andreas

Im trying to get the reading from distance sensor SICK DT35 through STEVAL-IOM001V1 which uses the L6360 IC via STSW-IOLINKGUI to get the proper reading we need to upload the IODD file of the sensor which I'm not be able to do with the GUI. There's not sufficient information about the GUI which is the cause of the problem so provide the needed documentation otherwise provide us the way to get the value from the sensor. and specify that what is the STSW-IOLINKGUI for is it just to test the connection via running the LED BLINK code.Give me a detail documentation to understand all the functions of the GUI.

Hello,we have developed our own RF modules based on the S2-LP transceiver and we are currently characterizing their maximum usable sensitivity.Measurement setupTX and RX are connected through a calibrated variable attenuator.The transmitter sends 500 packets with a 200 ms interval between packets.After the test, we create statistics on successfully received messagesOur RF settings: Frequency base = 433 MHz, Data rate = 3.84 ksps, Deviation = 2 kHz, Filter = 12 kHz; Preamble length = 64 bits. Hello I am looking at the ST87M01 Startup sequence in ST87MXX Startup Application Note. For configuring the ST87M01 (Band locks, eDRX, PSM ...), I understand that I need to "Stop the NBIOT Stack", enter my configuration with AT Commands, store this configuration in flash and restart the module. is this correct ? How do I "stop the NBIOT Stack" ? Is it possible to bypass this automatic startup, i.e. send a first "AT command" at startup, execute a specific set of configuration commands, trigger the network attachment ... without rebooting ? Hi everyone,I’ve been working on a small stm32 project that shows web-based content on a connected display, and I ran into an interesting issue when trying to load interactive pages. One example I was testing was the telenor quiz portal, which is basically an online quiz with dynamic content and scripts.The problem is that when I try to load pages like this through a lightweight browser or embedded web view, parts of the quiz don’t render properly, and sometimes the page just hangs. Hi all,I'm working on my first implementation of Bluetooth in a client custom bord. The board MCU is an STM32L151VeT6 with an BLUENRG-M2 module. I'm not new to STM32 development but new to Bluetooth. Im using STM32CubeMX with STM32IDE. I started first with an X-Nucleo-BNRG2A1 with an Nucleo-L476RG. I got the SensorDemo_BLESensor-App working fine. All the config was done from scratch with MX.Now the problem comes when I try to use the same demo with my custom board. I cannot get the module to initialize correctly. I would like to know why using this demo application on my custom board in not as straight forward as I thought. I cannot find any help on the web.I understand that the demo application was done for the X-Nucleo-BNRG2A1 but apparently changing Platform setting to match the custom board is not enough. Hi,I have a board design with the ST87M01-1301 that I am trying to bring up. The ST87M01 boots and I can control the device from the ST 87Mxx OM GUI tool, no issues with any of that.I am trying to get the GNSS working with a single antenna as shown in the data sheet and the EVKIT. The board is routed with RF_AUX (pin 33) connected to GNSS_ANT (pin 31), all per the guidelines. A passive GPS antenna is connected at the RF_ANT (pin 35)Is there an AT command that switches the RF_AUX On/Off to connect to the GNSS_ANT pin, or is the RF_AUX o/p always available? I have not been able to find this information in any of the ST87M01 documentation.At the moment my board is never able to get a GNSS fix and I want to be sure I have not missed a critical configuration AT command. The GUI continually outputs #GNSSFIX: 5.Thank you in advance for any comments or guidance. JT

Hello, Regarding current implementation of wrapper timers in st87ec library, we have a few questions:Is it fine to change implementation of tick resolution? Lets say if we have tick every 1 microsecond, if we change implementation of wrapper timer by multiplying by 1000, will it affect any other parts of library?Is there a plan to change implementation to interrupt driven for low power applications?What is expected longest timeout which requires waking up every 1ms?Is there sequence to put st87 to PSM? Best regards,Kamil.

I recently got a new custom PCB with a STM32L476RGT6 and a BlueNRG-M2SP. I have a Nucleo L476RG and a X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1 to test and make sure the program works. I am running the SensorDemo_BLESensor-App project from the X-CUBE-BLE2 package, and it works flawlessly on the dev board with the pinouts that are on my PCB, connected with jumper cables.I have been trying to isolate why this program isn't working on my PCB, and realized the IRQ pin is not going high after the send_cmd() function. So basically with the dev board whenever it runs hci_reset(), and eventually into hci_send_req where send_cmd is, IRQ goes high, but on the PCB, IRQ never goes high.Now from my understanding, this can be a problem in several areas. I have a multimeter, and confirmed CS is going high at the same time in the code for both the PCB and the dev board, and I set PD2 on my PCB high as a test and it worked so the PD2 (Where my IRQ pin is connected to) works as well. Hello, I bought original STEVAL-FCU001V2 board and STEVAL-DRONE02. When I tried to connect via Android app for the first time to the STEVAL-FCU001V2 board, I successfully connected. Later I forgot battery connected to the board and battery became useless. Then I bought new 1S lipo battery and run the board again but app does not find bluetooth connection anymore. I used the board with some custom softwares; ran motors, collected data from IMU sensor successfully, but I have no idea about bluetooth module. I sucessfully builded original STSW-FCU001 after fixing some simple errors and installed to the board but it still does not find connection. I have not enough knowledge to fix codes about bluetooth, I bought it to learn at all. Did anyone else face with same problem and solve it?

We are making a FCU based on STEVAL-FCU001V2 as a study project. We have manufactured the pcb from the gerber files that ST provided. We have had the components stuffed on the pcb as well. We uploaded the ST firmware provided by ST in our drone from this link: "https://www.st.com/en/embedded-software/stsw-fcu001.html", Specifically The STEVAL-FCU001V1 program using the ST-Link V2. We uploaded this code as this is the only code that was built without any errors in the cubeide. Now we know that the code is uploaded inside the board as when we press reset button, the onboard led turns on. But in the STDrone App, we cannot see the drone. The BLE sensor used is the BlueNRG-M0A. It is working as well as by using multimeter we measured the power consumption between its VDD and GND pin to be 3.3 volts. The define statement in the code is also set to "#define REMOCON_BLE // BLE Remocon App" but still we cannot see the drone in the app.Any help would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
