I'm trying to use X-NUCLEO-IDB05A2 on an Nucleo64 STM32L476 board. I want is to initialize the IDB05A2 and pair it with smartphone(s) to detect if any of these paired phone(s) is in range or not (so the phone(s) should acts as paired beacon(s) / there is no need for a specific application to run). I also tried to use some of the ST demo applications, but this didn't resolve the issue or new problems popped up: the documentation lacks info required to find a solution. If docs "refer to the bluetooth specification" that violates the ST statement one can start developing BLE applications without deeper knowledge of the BLE spec.I use Cube IDE Version: 1.12.1 Build: 16088_20230420_1057 (UTC). Greetings, fellow community members,I am currently utilizing the X-NUCLEO-IDB05A2 board and have configured the Bluetooth module using the BlueNRG GUI.The module establishes a successful connection with an Android phone without any issues. However, when attempting to connect it to a Windows 11 PC, the connection gets disconnected within a few seconds.I would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions on how to resolve this problem.

I'm using I2C to communicate from a master I2C controller to the Teseo-LIV3R device.I'm periodically sending $PSTMNMEAREQUEST messages to get an NMEA message generated from the device. I see the NMEA message generated, followed by an echo of the request as expected, but this is often prepended by a small number of 0xff bytes. Every now and again, I see thousands of these 0xff in front of the requested NMEA message, and the I2C bus hangs immediately afterwards - recoverable only by putting the Teseo device into reset.Why is this 0xff data here - is this just the state of the SDA line if the Teseo device is not driving it - if so, why do the number of 0xff bytes seen vary, and why do I occasionally see thousands of these? The device is in it's default mode - looking at the user manual, this suggests that any low power operation is disabled....

What kind of connectors do you use, when there's no space for soldered connectors for flashing your boards?I wonder if there's a wider distributed (and cheaper) solution than TC2030-nl connectors. Those are nice, but waaaaaaay too expensive.

I try to read the data from BlueNRG-M2SP on an android application. For that with my STM32 I send to the UART a "u". On the application, I scan the services and Characteristic and I only find a write Characteristic but no read Characteristic, and I can't find in the documentation (https://www.st.com/resource/en/programming_manual/dm00294449-bluenrg-1-bluenrg-2-ble-stack-v2-x-programming-guidelines-stmicroelectronics.pdf ) how to have a read Characteristic on the custome service. i use the code exemple BLE chat Server that can find on the BlueNRG-1 NavigatorOn the code exemple i find some UUID but that doesn't work when i try to read data from the STM32

I need STUSB4761 I2C Device adress. In the datasheet I can not see.And I wanna use this pd with MCU and I2C controlled buck-boost converter. I will read STUSB4761 registers via I2C and after that I will control the buck-boost IC via I2C so input will be dc supply. İs it possible??

Hello ST Support,I have an STM32L4 MCU connected to a BlueNRG-M0 module on a custom PCB. I am not sure how to initialize the BLE gap for this BLE module. I'm using X-CUBE-BLE1 version 6.2.4 in a STM32CubeMx project with FreeRTOS. The getting started document says to use the aci_gap_init() function, but that does not exist in the library. Instead, there are the aci_gap_init_IDB04A1() and aci_gap_init_IDB051A() functions. However, both of those eval boards are NFRD and do not have the BlueNRG-M0 module. I've read a post about corrupting the memory on BLE modules, so I'm afraid to try that code before knowing if it will work with the BlueNRG-M0 module.As far as I can tell, the X-CUBE-BLE1 library is the correct library to use for the BlueNRG-M0, but please let me know if that isn't the case. If it is, how can I safely initialize the BLE gap interface?Best regards,Cory

Greetings,I am developing a multi-slave configuration using a few BlueNRG-2 modules where the master would also connect to a smartphone and transmit data collected from the slaves (a tree network). Though a dual master-slave (central-peripheral) role is possible, the question is if this also possible to assign specific aci_gap_set_io_capability() and aci_gap_set_authentication_requirement() for each gap role in the master device? Say, IO_CAP_NO_INPUT_NO_OUTPUT for the slaves and IO_CAP_KEYBOARD_DISPLAY for the smartphone?

Greetings,For a project of mine, I would like to use on B-L4S5I-IOT01A IoT discovery kit both Wi-Fi ® (Inventek Systems ISM43362-M3G-L44) module and Bluetooth® Low Energy (BlueNRG-M0) module, in simultaneous.Reading the user manual for the board (UM2708) I saw that the Bluetooth module works exclusively on SPI3 and that the Wi-Fi module could work on SPI3 as well or on UART3, but all the implementations I found for the module are using a SPI for the HAL interface. I already found a similar question but the response was not exhaustive enough and the topic is quite old. (I cannot link it but the title was: ISM43362 wifi module via UART) My questions are:Is there a way to use SPI3 for both modules in simultaneous? if yes, how?If not, is there any implementation of the driver interface on a UART? Writing that on my own could be really difficult. Thank you in advance!

I have a custom board ,I use ethernet protocol, the LAN8742 driver PHY ethernet IC don't output voltage on LEDS pins (PIN2,PIN3) when I connect a network cable between PC and my custom board, but when I connect a network cable between PC and Nucleo Board the IC outputs voltage, I use same IC that is found in Nucleo Board on my custom board, what is the reason?

I am using the official ST library from STM32CubeIde and i adapted a custom_ranging_sensor.h to use two sensors. The project builds correctly but when the getdistance returns a (VL53LX_ERROR_CONTROL_INTERFACE) error. But the init and start function executes correctly. I am using the PB3 and PB4 as XShut of both sensors and PB5 and PB6 as GPIO output for external interruptions

I am using micropthon on my esp32-s2 and connected to my VL53L4CX over I2C. i can see the device on the bus but am having an extremely hard time reading in the distance value. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I that there are some libraries out there but i really want to keep my memory footprint small on my esp32-s2 so dumping in an entire library with all the dependencies isn't ideal.

I have BlueNRG-2 application that writes to flash. I have followed the instructions in section 3.15 of the manual and use aci_hal_end_of_radio_activity_event() to detect the next radio activity and time the flash to not write during that time. However, it seems that occasionally this won't work and the device will stop radio communication and calling the Blue_handler() interrupt. When this happens, RADIO_GetStatus() returns 2. I can restart the interrupt via TIMER_SetWakeupTime(0, 0), but the radio still will not work. If I reboot via NVIC_SystemReset(), it still won't work. Only a power cycle (remove power and restore power) will get the device working again. What can I do to programmatically fix the radio?
