I'm trying to flash example firmware (BLE Sensor Demo) from STSW-BLUETILE-DK 1.2.0 to BlueTile using BlueNRG-1_2 Flasher v3.1.0. I' getting green LED On on BlueTile (as if it is still flashing) instead of blue LED (when it is advertising). No advertising is running. In fact, I've managed to get working application running once or twice, but it was totally random.

ST has something on their github but it is incomplete.The Infineon/Cypress forum offers something here but it is too obtuse.

Hi,I'm using the BlueNRGM2 BLE module in combination with a STM32L4 host controller. They are connected over SPI.The BlueNRGM2 is running the DTM_SPI application from ST to act as network coprozessor. My user application is running on the host controller. For communication with the module I use the X-Cube-BLE2 software package.In section 3.1.1 of the BlueNRG-2 BLE stack v2.x programming guidelines (PM0257) I found the following description: The BlueNRG-1, BlueNRG-2 devices do not have a valid preassigned MAC address, but a unique serial number (read only for the user).The unique serial number is a six byte value stored at address 0x100007F4: it is stored as two words (8 bytes) at address 0x100007F4 and 0x100007F8 with unique serial number padded with 0xAA55.Unfortunately I can't find any ACI command to read out this area of flash.The only command I found in the DoxyGen documentation for the API is the "aci_hal_updater_read_data_blk" but it's only for flash address regions above 0x10020

I noticed that an5471 says that the uart interface for flashing the bootloader is only available on PA8 and PA9, but those pins aren't present on the 32 pin version. Is there any other way to access the bootloader on this device?​

I've read the documentation about the BLE scheduler and I was wondering if it's possible to schedule some time for operations over-the-air using the proprietary protocol. I was thinking about something like, the application is informed when BLE operations are over (e.g., once the connection event is over) and for for how long the radio is available for use by the proprietary protocol (e.g., until the next anchor point). From what I've read so far in the documentation of the BlueNRG-LP, I had the impression that this is possible, but I would appreciate a confirm and possibly some advice on where to look at in the code. In all ST devkit code, the commandaci_hal_set_tx_power_level(0,25)is used, but changing the parameters has no effect on the transmit power (is always about 0dBm).

Hi,I use a STEVAL-IDB008v2 board and I want to test lighting demo example available in STSW-BNRG-Mesh. HiI am new to FD CAN and I need to use it in my project. I have a problem with recieving data on NUCLEO-G431RB. THe data is sent by other NUCLEO-G431RB and my reciever doesn't recieve anything. Dear,​From the datasheet of L9663, the minimum interval of sync pulse period is 200us. But I want to send the sync pulses with period less than 200us, how can I do it?​In the datasheet, it mentioned "If full flexibility for the sync pulse interval is required, use direct triggering either via SPI or direct interface." But in the SPT register, it described the 200us "Minimum allowed period (if SYNC pulse trigger is generated by PIN or SPI)." The two sentences looks contradictious, or to say there is a special way to send the "direct triggering" signal?And the 200us determined by the bootstrap circuit, but this bootstrap circuit could be bypassed. So it's possible to send the sync pulse with period less than 200us in principle.​Thank you.

In a non-encrypted BLE link, the device falls back to the level of minimum power consumption (STOP_NOTIMER) between connection events. In an "LE Secure" link, the CPU is kept active. Why, and what to do about that?

Connecting via USB-C with the battery disconnected everything works correctly. PD contract is negotiated, 20V is delivered and when I plug the battery in to the charger it begins charging. If the battery is already attached when USB is connected, no PD contract is negotiated and the battery does not charge. I believe that the STUSB4500 thinks the VBUS line hasn't discharged, but I don't understand the relationship between DISCH and VBUS_VS_DISCH well enough to debug it.Attached is the schematic. +VSINK feed to the battery charger and is at battery voltage (through a MOSFET body diode) while the battery is connected. Any help would be appreciated! I am running the BlueNRG sample application but I added ret = aci_gap_start_general_discovery_proc(SCAN_P, SCAN_L, PUBLIC_ADDR, 1);so that I can scan for devices. Then I added the following code to the user_notify() method in the sample_service.c file:which kind of works but when I looka at the blue_evt pointer in the debugger I see that the bluetooth address always has a '\0' at bdaddr[0].I am not sure how this is happening, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Good afternoon....I am looking at getting an STEVAL-STLKT01V1 for development using the BlueNRG. My questions are: I notice in the BOM, the BlueNRG-MS is used and is NRND. How much difference is this from the M0?Can I use the CubeMX IDE for development with the BlueNRG-MS or M0?Thanks

hi, I'm a student and im learning how to use the board B-L475E-IOT01A. i am working on a simple project. I managed to activate the HTS221 sensors and the output is shown on Putty.exe I would complicate it a little bit and show the results on the STM BLE Sensor application (present on the play store), but I don't know how to do it since 1. I can't find the code 2. on .ioc I can't configure and activate the BLE of the board. can u help me?
