Accelerometer calibration

Hi ST team,

I would like to know if I need to calibrate my sensor or if you can tell me a method to validate my X, Y and Z outputs.

I'm getting the following values in a test but how can I know if my method is correct? I was reading and at the current accelerometer position X and Y are should be 0g and Z should be 1g.

Note: My results are in mg.

Use the datasheet to tell you any accuracy guarantees and if there is any built-in calibration.

Values seem roughly correct, maybe a little off axis. If it's on a flat item, turning it upside down should return the negative of those results if there is no offset.
