Dear community,

I was just wondering if there was any way of knowing (or whether this is 'secret recipe') whether the very-MEMS within different chips are the same or not.

Namely, I would like to know whether I should expect the exact same behaviours from the LIS2DH and from the accelerometer part of the LSM6DSM.

Same for LIS2DH/LIS3DH for example...

Any pointers to help me out ?

Thanks in advance, dear community

Best regards.

You have to compare the datasheets, from them you can judge it the sensors are similar. But you will be able to only if the digital part is same or similar not the sensor element itself. There is no secret recipe.

LIS2DH and accelerometer part of LSM6DSM are competely different.

LIS2DH and LIS3DH are very similar.
