Are not there connectors on X-NUCLEO-53L1A2?

Hi!

I purchased X-NUCLEO-53L1A2 and tried to check the function.

However it was impossible to connect VL53L1 breakout board through left and right connectors.

Because there were not left and right connectors. I attached the picture.

But about X-NUCLEO-53L1A1, there are left and right connectors.

I'm wondering why there are not those connectors on X-NUCLEO-53L1A2.

I would ask a ST market person.

Thanks in advance

You are correct. The header is not on the board.

While we decide what to do, you can buy the connectors from digikey or mouser.

    https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/samtec-inc/SSQ-105-01-T-D/1110763

Or any other 10 pin female 2.54mm pitch 2x5 would work.

    I'm really sorry.

    Dear John

    thanks for your replying.

I have a question, the board is fault? (I mean no connector is mistake at your factory.)

It was not a factory fault. We are really good at that part.

But when the board was modified from an existing part (the X-Nucleo-53L0A1), we failed to get the correct Bill Of Materials.

And so those connectors were left unsoldered.

Unfortunately we found out about it at the same time you did - after they had been shipped to distributors.

We are still working out what to do about it.
