Are the algorithms provided by ST, such as MotionFX, open source or closed source? Is the user able to develop their own algorithms?

The Motion libraries are not open source and are provided in binary format. However, ST provides also open-source examples such as IIR filter and CRC computation. The user is free to develop their own algorithms: the ISPU can be programmed in C code to implement any type of processing.
