ASM330LHB Gyroscope bias changed abnormally

Hi,
We are using 4 ASM330LHB in our application. We have placed 4IMU's on PCB. We put the PCB in temperature chamber to observe the sensor behaviour during the temperature variation(cooling) with 1deg/min from 30 to 60 to -20.During this test all sensors in static only. During cooling, the sensor bias or readings changed significantly as shown in attached file. Why sensors readings changed significantly?.

Each plot has 4gyroscope readings. In attached file The last 3Plots are zoomed version of first 3plots respectively.

    Hi @Deviprasad Bokkisam ,

It is not an issue because we don't replicate a similar behavior in our tests so it could be related to your tests or board design.

I suggest you contact your local FAE or open a ticket to the online support system at this link to get quickly support.

    Hi @Deviprasad Bokkisam ,

I am not able to open the attached file. Can you attach some screenshots?

And also, can you share the schematic of your board with the 4 ASM330LHB?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thank you for reply.

Please find the attached screenshots. We designed schematics as per TN0018 document @ section6.10.

We have 4 sensors, each one communicated independently to MCU with 4SPI's.

The data taken with following configurations.

    1.ODR 416Hz.

    2.Range 500 deg/s, High performance mode.

    3.voltage3.3V

    Hi @Deviprasad Bokkisam ,

You are capturing data continuously as the climate chamber heats and cools, right? So the spikes you see I think are due to the noise from the climate chamber.

I recommend that you turn off the climate chamber once it has reached the temperature, acquire the sensor output, and turn it back on to go to the next temperature.

Please provide the contact details of FAE.I am from India.

Do you test all production IMU samples with temperature rise and cool from -40 to 105deg?
