Can non-UNICO software be used to program LSM mems sensors?

In general, all the device features can be configured without using UNICO tool by referring to the dedicated documents available on st.com website. Only the MLC feature requires using UNICO tool. Anyway, ST suggests using UNICO tool because it allows configuring all the features together, and generating the device configuration that will be used in the final application.
