control VL53L0X without windows

I'd tried to control VL53L0X by Renesas micro computer RX231 with API STSW-IMG005 but the compiler generates many errors. It seems the compiler doesn't support 'windows.h', windows API.

Now I am trying to create a new control program with reference to the data sheet [DoclD029104], but I could not understand where the contents of INDEX is described.

So I want to know how can I get the information about VL53L0X's register composition or another API.
