Detect orientation change using LIS2DH12

Hello ST community,

I would like to know how to detect the following motion using 6D function in LIS2DH12. From the application note, I understand the kind of movements detected. However, the motion that I would like to be detected is as shown in the attached picture. Is there a workaround to detect this kind of movement (i.e A to B and A to C) using the LIS2DH12?
