Gyroscope being off rotation axis

Hello,

How will gyroscope work if it isn't on rotation axis, but shifted about 1.5 cm off it? Will it still be usable to measure rotation angle? Or such case won't work and gyroscopes output data will be false?

Hello,

thank you for asking your question in our forum.

At 1.5cm distance from the rotation axis of the device, there are no problems with cross axis sensitivity, therefore your design would work properly.
