Question

Hi 1. Is there a way to extract out the gravitational acceleration from accelerometer reading using MotionDI library? 2. what does the gravitational vector signify in MotionDI library output?

I just want to measure the translational acceleration and wipe out the effect of gravitational acceleration from the accelerometer reading. I know this can't be done with accelerometer alone, but can it be done with MotionDI library which uses both the accelerometer and gyroscope?

In the output of MotionDI library, there is a gravitational vector which shows gravitation in three axes. How does MotionDI compute the direction and intensity of gravity when it computes the effect of only accelerometer and gyro and ignore magnetometer.

Sensortile kit STLKT01V1 is being used.

    Hi @MAhm.1 ,

Can we refer to this other thread, whose topic looks similar to the one here above?
