How does one get started with STEVAL-MKI209V1(IIS2ICLX-based board) and UNICO-GUI?

I have a Nucleo-F401RE and want to interface with the STEVAL-MKI209V1. I've tried the TiltSensing2_IIS2ICLX and AccelCalibration2_IIS2ICLX examples but none of them talk to the UNICO-GUI, Mems Studio or TeraTerm UART. Any leads? Especially on what firmware is necessary and wiring?

how did you connect the STEVAL-MKI209V1 to the NUCLEO-F401RE? Did you use any expansion board X-NUCLEO-IKS...? If not please double check you connect it ins the same way like it would be connected to DIL24 on the X-NUCLEO-IKS board. You can check for example schematic of the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3.

Concerning the applications the TiltSensing2_IIS2ICLX and AccelCalibration2_IIS2ICLX examples cooperates with MEMS Studio and Unicleo-GUI.
