Question

I would like to know if the limit of 104 sample/sec of Output Data Rate for Machine Learning Core and Finite State Machine embedded MEMS processing, can be raised to handle dynamic signal in industry, at the expense of higher consumption.

LSM6DSOX Inertial module handles linear acceleration output data rate up to 6667 Hz, while limit for MLC and FSM is 104 Hz.

    Hi @PTHOM.1 ,

unfortunately the limit of this ODR=104Hz cannot be overcome in the LSM6DSOX/RX family, since its clock/logic is shared also with the sensor hub, which can be synchronized with the accelerometer/gyroscope data-ready signal up to 104 Hz.

Next generation IMU sensors with ISPU, such as LSM6DSO16IS, will be capable of much higher ODRs (and more complex functions).
