IIS3DWB RES pins

Hello,

I'm using a IIS3DWB in my design.

As indicated in datasheet, RES pins (10 and 11) should be connected to VDD_IO or leave unconnected (Table 1: Pin Description).

However, the STEVAL-MKI208V1 have RES pins tied to GND (Figure 1 STEVAL-MKI208V1 board schematic)

Could you please tell me how I should connect these pins?

Thanks,

Pablo

Hi Pablo, in these cases the datasheet is the rule to be followed, but I suggest you to check application board where the IIS3DBW is mounted, such as the STWINKT1B

    This confirms the datasheet.

Thank you Tom for your answer. You are right.

I would want to do some measurements with the STEVAL-MKI208V1 before design a prototype.

Hope those pins tied to ground do not affect the measurements,

Anyway, I don't understand why they didn't follow the datasheet specs.
