With the LSM6DSV16X you can use either the software libraries available in the X-CUBE-MEMS1 software package or the embedded functionalities as the Machine Learning Core, Finite State Machine, Pedometer, Adaptive Self Configuration and Sensor Fusion Low Power. The software libraries can only run on STMicroelectronics microcontrollers while on the other side, the embedded features can be used with other CPU.
