Is it possible to run FFT analysis with 6KHz and MLC simultaneously on ISM330DHCX?

Hi,

I am able to try FFT analysis with 6KHz. I have also tried the MLC applications on ISM330DHCX separately. Is it possible to run the both applications simultaneously. Since, My FFT runs at different ODR and occupy the FIFO until the process is done. MLC runs at different ODR. How can we run both FFT and MLC.

    Hi Kumar @NK.1umar Byregowda ,

    if I well understand, you acquire data at ODR 6.6kHz and you run the FFT batch by barch, right?

    You should be able to run both process almost in parallel using for example the following configuration:

    • for the FFT, you can do as you are already doing;
    • for the MLC, you can set the MLC_ODR value according to your target application; the ISM330DHCX applies the downsampling internally on the basis of the MLC_ODR you have set.

    I don't believe, however, it is possible -for example- to feed the embedded MLC with the FFT vector (so, MLC consequentially to the FFT), since the FFT data are processed outside the device.

    Please let me know if you can implement this two processes.

    Hey Eleon,

    It looks like it is huge work. I am super happy with ISM330DHCX. Now I I have decided to use ISM330DHCX for multiple applications. With or with out MLC. The product is really good.

    Any plans of launching high 'g' accelerometer with MLC?

    Hi @NK.1umar Byregowda ,

    thank you very much for your appreciation.

    I cannot unfortunately disclose here the new products roadmap, but a renewal of the high g accelerometers is an important point.
