Hi,

I am trying to test my I2C connection with my STM32nucleoF411RE but I can't seems to have any response from my MKI142V1. I have tested the start condition and sending the address but it doesn't seem to retrieve the acknowledge bit that the sensor should send back.

So my question is, can I really test the MKI142V1 without MKI109V2 that everyone recommends ?

Yes, you can. The STEVAL-MKI142V1 is just a adapter board, you can check the schematic

    .

Don't forget to connect Vdd and Vdd_IO to power supply and the CS to Vdd to enable I2C.
