Is LIS2MDL proper for car park status detection?

Hi, I want to use LIS2MDL in a smart parking sensor. (Like this product:

So, i have 2 questions:

1- Is this sensor proper for this application? Is it used in a real smart parking project?

2- Is there any practical guide for driving the sensor truly "for this application"? Something like an application note, some piece of code, etc

Hi @Jhabi​ , theoretically it is possible, please check here for a similar request. You have to be able to mask the LIS2MDL from the ambient magnetic noise, e.g. placing it in a proper way with respect to the car. I believe the HW placement is at least important as the software data post processing. Regards
