The description page of the L3G4200D gyroscope says that it is an angular rate sensor able to provide unprecedented stablility of zero rate level and sensitivity over temperature and time.
Does that mean that there is no need to fuse it with an accelerometer for calculating angle? #l3g4200d-gyroscope
