Hi, what is the natural replacement for the obsolete LIS3DE?

Is there a model pin to pin compatible and software compatible?

Thanks.

    Hi @Community member ,

yes, there is. As closest substitute I would suggest you the LIS3DH, which has the same package, pinout and register map as the LIS3DE.

Moreover, mechanical and electrical characteristics are improved on the LIS3DH.

You can also refer to the Github repository for dedicated C drivers and examples, where you can also compare them with the LIS3DE ones.

It's not the best-in-class accelerometer in ST portfolio but is a good substitute.
