Im trying to use lis3dh in low power consumption mode and hope to get advices on how to use the interrupt and the registers set up for minimum power consumption aiming to few micros.

Welcome to ST Community!

To have the lowest power consumptions on the interrupt signals, you need to have the interrupt in open drain and the MCU pin as high Z input, then put a pull up resistor on this interrupt line.
