Question

LIS3MDL Temperature problem.

Hello. We know that lis3mdl is temperature sensitive, i.e. there is a scale shift. From what we have read, this cannot be compensated for with software ( Or maybe it's possible? ). Therefore, can this be prevented physically, e.g. by using some thermal paste? The idea is to prevent lis3mdl from heating up too much. Our operating temperature range is 10-35 degrees Celsius. Thanks.

    Hi,

    from ds:

The lis3 heating up at 0.6 mW power consumption ? (at its nominal 2.5V supply)

No, never... almost impossible, to get any temp.rise to measure, i think.

btw :   at which voltage you use it ?

It's not about the voltage heating up, it's about the external ambient temperature.

    Hi @TBart.1 ,

Did you perform some tests? Which is the offset drift you observed?
