Question

LPS22HB coated by moisture-proof coating

When we applied moisture-proof coating to the substrate, we also coated the LPS22HB.

In this case, does the coating affect the measurement?

If so, is it okay to rub the sensing area to remove the coating?

hi, for a good LPS22HB system integration, please follow these hardware guidelines. Please check here below how to implement a good sensor embodiment. If you want to add a dust or waterproof membrane filter for your specific application, you should take into account these guidelines. To go back to your question, it depends on how the moisture-proof coating is structured: if  the vent apertures size is an order magnitude lower than the sensor dimension, for example of 0.5 mm, the response time is good. If the coating is too dense, you should remove it. Regards
