LSM6DSO FIFO Timestamp Gets Reset After 0xFFFF

Any ideas on why the timestamp gets reset in FIFO after 0xFFFF? I have TIMESTAMP_EN bit of the

CTRL10_C register set to 1 and the DEC_TS_BATCH_[1:0] bits of the FIFO_CTRL4 are set to 01 (max(BDR_XL[Hz],BDR_GY[Hz]) [Hz]).

there are two reason for which the timestamp can reset:

• value AAh is written in the TIMESTAMP2 register (as stated in application note 5192 on page 63 https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00517282-lsm6dso-alwayson-3d-accelerometer-and-3d-gyroscope-stmicroelectronics.pdf )
• the TIMESTAMP registers reach their maximum value (0xFFFFFFFF)

you wrote that it resets after 0xFFFF, but what register are you reading? is it TIMESTAMP 0 and 1, or 2 and 3?
