are LSM6DSOX+IIS2MDCTR a good match for a sensorfusion setup, where we want absolute heading as quaternions?

should the ISS2 be connected to the slave port of LSM6?

    Hi @HEhle​ , the schematic appears to be ok, also according to the AN5272 p.65. The connection are correct. Also the combination of LSM6DSOX+IIS2MDCTR: if you namely consider the X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 reference design, the two sensors involved in the MotionFX sensor fusion library are the LSM6DSO (basically the same part number as DSOX regard this application) and the LIS2MDL, similar to IIS2MDCTR at least for your purpose.
