LSM6DSR Gyro Zero Offset?

Dear Sir,

In datasheet, it says that Angular rate zero-rate level is +/- 1dps,

  1. does it means that when the chip soldered on PCB and in flat stationary state, the expected value is +/- 1dps or close to +/- 15 counts for +/-2000dps scale?
  2. What is the min and max G_TyOff? Not found in datasheet.

Thanks.

    Hi @E-John ,

G_TyOff on DS is referred at component level and not when the chip is soldered on PCB.

It is the gyroscope offset, so this means that the output value can oscillate +/- 1dps with respect to the ideal output.

We have min-max values based on characterization data and not guaranteed in production, for this reason we don't provide a min-max values in datasheet.

    Hi @Federica Bossi

Is there any statistics for component level? like, +/-5 dps on PCB for 1 sigma is acceptable?

Just want to know the reasonable gyro zero offset on component level for normal distribution.

The reference values on component level helps factory to check if the manufacturing process is acceptable or need to be improved.

    Thanks.

    Hi @E-John ,

+/- 5dps is acceptable according to characterization data, but consider that they refer to a limited samples of data and so not guaranteed in production.

    Hi Federica,

We would like to know the acceptable statistics values on board level provided by ST like below(official documentation)

Thus can help customer to check if they process is trustable or not.

    Thanks.
