Question

MEMS Studio and Nucleo Boards

I’m running MEMS Studio 1.4.2 on Win 10, 64 bit latest version. And trying three different Nucleo boards:

Nucleo-C031C6

Nucleo-64-STM32L476

Nucleo-64-STM32F303

MEMS Studio will not recognize any of these three Nucleo boards, with or without the MEMS inertial  and environmental expansion board plugged in - X-Nucleo-IKS01A3. I have also tried plugging a DIL24 adapter into the expansion board - no effect.

Any suggestions on what I’m missing?

    Hello,

you have to use appropriate firmware. The firmware for sensor evaluation and middleware libraries testing is available in X-CUBE-MEMS1 package. Unfortunately the boards you have listed are not directly supported by the package, but using this package and STM32CubeMX application you can generated firmware for middleware libraries testing for your Nucleo boards. The procedure is described in UM1859.
