Resistor changes for STEVAL-MKI196V1 and STEVAL-MKI109V2

Hi,

On the MKI196V1 webpage (https://www.st.com/en/evaluation-tools/steval-mki196v1.html) It says that:

"Changing the resistor settings is also compatible with the STEVAL-MKI109V2 motherboard"

I cannot find any documentation on which resistor changes are required. Currently I am getting the following error from Unico:

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks

Matt

You are currently connecting the STEVAL-MKI196V1 to the STEVAL-MKI109V2, right?

The STEVAL-MKI196V1 is compatible with the STEVAL-MKI109V3 due to the 4 resistors (zero ohm bridges) R1, R3, R5 and R7 set per default.

You need to unsolder these resistors and instead set the 0 ohm jumpers at R2, R4, R6 and R8 so that the STEVAL-MKI196V1 can be used with your STEVAL-MKI109V2.

The schematics of these tools can be found in the documentation tab of the websites linked above.

    Good luck!
