Sensortile.box Pro connecting to MEMS Studio problem

I have been trying to get a connection to my sensortile kit using the serial  connection. I only get "Board not identified". I have tried loading the DatalogExtended.bin file to try get the board to be recognized but this didn't help. I also tried making a small "application" with the Algobuilder in Mems Studio but this seems pointless as there is no connection.

 

Is there a tutorial or app note that could explain how to get the software to detect the kit?

Are you able to check if the SensorTile.box Pro is identified on your host machine? I had a hardware defect on one of my units where it wouldn't output data (when not in DFU mode) and couldn't connect to any of the tools, it may be related to your problem. Aside from that, it should work as-is. Put device in DFU mode -> flash datalog extended binary -> disconnect and reconnect unit -> turn on -> select "serial" and the program should automatically detect the correct vcom port.
