STEVAL-IDP005V1-GUI does not connect

Hi.

i am having a STEVAL-IDP005V1, STEVAL-UKI001V1, 10-pin-IDP005V1 Cable, M12female connector.

i am referring this document ( https://www.st.com/resource/en/product_presentation/steval-bfa001v1b_quick_start_guide.pdf ) 

i am not able to connect the board to my PC.  please anyone suggest me to do the analysis of accelerometer

is that any clear document?

    Are you using the swd connector? 

    Make sure you are powering the device 18V or higher as per the requirement

    The swd connector at the steval , how did you connect to it ? whats the orientation?

    Yes, i am using the SWD Connector. 
    Yes, i applied the input voltage is 18.5 V. (brown Positive and blue negative)
    Please refer the Picture.

    I don’t recall the exact orientation of the connector on the st board but you can try connecting the swd connector on stm32 in the reverse direction (I had similar issue and I figured out that the connector needs to be connected in reverse direction and then it worked)

     

    Also the baud rate is mentioned in the manual make sure to set that
