STEVAL-MKI109V3 + STEVAL-MKI208V1K = Board Not Recognized

I recently purchased a STEVAL-MKI109V3 and STEVAL-MKI208V1K to evaluate the accelerometer. I installed Unico-GUI v9.13 and thought I was off to the races but when I open Unico I get the "Error: The adapter board has not been recognized". I have tried on a couple different computers and get the same result.

Any advice on how to fix this? Odd for a brand new out of the box evaluation kit no?

did you upload the last FW on the STEVAL-MKI109V3 (ProfiMEMSToolV3.42.4)? You can find it in the Unico-GUI v9.13, folder: \FIRMWARE\ProfiMEMSTool board.

Yes I did. I have been talking with tech support as even after the latest firmware update it still results in the same error. Their suggest is return and ask for a replacement.

I'm currently experiencing the same issue, did the new board fix this? I'm on my second MKI208V1K with no change in behavior.

My issue was a defective ribbon cable....who would have guessed. ST diagnosed and is sending a replacement.
