Question

STEVAL MKI109V3 Unable to enter DFU

Hello I have installed Unico and DFUSE DEMO and all the drivers, and when I connect my board to the PC I can see the virtual com port 6:0690X00000DYV4nQAH.png

but when I open dfusedemo, and press button 3 and 2 together then release 3 then 2, I get this:

0690X00000DYV57QAH.png

I can't get the STM device in DFU mode anymore (it worked the first time, I tried uploading the DFU found in the driver folder and it worked, but after that it doesn't anymore).

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi @WGeng.1 , did you followed the sequence of buttons described in UM2116 p.4 to enter DFU mode?

    a. press buttons BT3 (Reset) and BT2 together

    b. first release BT3 and then release BT2

Have you the STM32Programmer driver installed on your PC? They can conflict with the DFUse demo drivers.

    Regards

I think the STM32Programmer was the issue, ran into a problem uninstalling it (some java issue) so the driver was in conflict, switched to another laptop and it worked there. Thanks!
