STHS34PF80 configuration for 4 meters range

Hello community,

I have an application where I want to implement STHS34PF80 for detecting people PRESENCE and MOTION with a range of 3 to 4 meters. In the Datasheet it is stated that it is possible without using extra lenses. Although, I am struggling to find the best config to have a good recognition with more than 1,5m.

- What would be the step-by-step to make the sensor run in 4 meters range?

- Could someone give me an example config for THRESHOLD, HYSTERESIS, LPF, ODR and AVG?

For the configuration of the sensor and of the presence detection algorithm, we suggest to follow the procedure described in the AN5867.
