Tap detection

Hi,

I am trying to do double tap detection at 10hz and 25hz .Is this possible at low frequency.

Viewing the acceleration graphs in Inemo PC suite I could see that the response is poor at low frequency and good at 400hz.

Is any there a way around this if I want to detect taps at low acquisition frequency to reduce power consumption.
