Testing pressure sensors

Hello,

I am working on water ingress application experiment, and I want to know how to evaluate different pressure sensors to figure out which one is best for me? Since this application involves water, I think a water proof option would be good. But what are some basic tests I can perform to evaluate the different pressure sensor's performance? I apologize for the (hopefully) very basic question, I am new to using pressure sensors.
