Trivial question about accelerometer

Hi everybody,

For LIS244AL accelerometer, I need to understand what does mean:

sensitivity: 0.140*Vdd (V/g)

So I need to understand what is the output voltage when the device is inclined by 1°.

BTW, in which application should I use an accelerometer and in which one should I use a

gyroscope.
