VL53L0X Offset Calibration Procedure Examples?

I'm using an array of VL53L0X for a robotics application, and I'm struggling with the problem of offset calibration. I have looked through the API, but I get lost pretty quickly. Can you point me at any working tutorials and/or examples showing how to do this?
