VL53L1-SATEL circuits question

Dear a ST engineer,

I had purchased VL53L1-SATEL and evaluated the function with NUCLEO-F401RE and "VL53L1 Gui". I connected VL53L1-SATEL board to NUCLEO-F401RE board directly through some wires.

However the GUI didn't recognize the connection of VL53L1".

Then I checked the circuit of the breakout board, I found that the pull-up registers for XSHUNT pin and GPIO1 pin were not exist. But the datasheet of VL53L1 showed the note.

I have a question;

is it necessary for me to add some pull up registers to VL53L1 Mini PCB?

Hello,

The satellite board can not be used with the GUI, because the GUI is based on the expansion board. If you want to use the satellite board with the Nucleo F401RE without the expansion board (shield board). You may download the X-CUBE-53L1A2 example code from st.com here

Just now, I ordered X-NUCLE-53L1A2 board. I'll check it with GUI.
