What are the differences and advantages between the LIS2DH12 and LIS2DW12 ?

Please let me know if I do want to use this sensor for detection the device is not moving in any directions (NO MOTION) at very low current consumption then which ONE i should pick.

Hi davidle, I would suggest you to use the LIS2DW12 for the following reasons: first, it's a newer product and will be of course supported for longer time; second, for your application (movement detection), if you don't want to have a fine detection of high-frequency movements (fast or harsh movement, for example), you can set low ODRs, e.g. working in low power (12.5Hz or 10Hz ODR, LP) the current consumption is lower than LIS2DH12, down to 1uA consumption.; third, is more stable vs temperature. Yes I will use the LIS2DW12 in low ODRs to get 1uA consumption.
