What is the difference between LIS2DH and MIS2DH?

Hi.

Currently I'm using LIS2DH12, and I found a new product, MIS2DH.

​

Actually, we are developing a medical device, and it seems that MIS2DH is a accelerometer devloped for medical applications.

​

But I cannot find any difference between two sensors.

​

Is there any important differences between them?

Hi @wonhyuck​ , you are right, there are only few differences in terms of performances the two products: the main difference lies the qualification requirements and procedure for LIS2DH and MIS2DH. The former has been submitted to standard qualification, the latter to medical and industrial grade one. as explained in the datasheet, p.1. Regards
