Hi guys,

I'm working on a new hw design and I can't find the difference between these two references.

Thanks in advance,

Kind regards

Hi @Jairo Estefanía , the fundamental difference between the two part numbers is the focus on the temperature sensor of the LIS2DTW12 (T stands for "temperature sensor"). Moreover, the LIS2DTW12 has a lower noise density. These two improvements results in a slightly higher current consumption. Basically the LIS2DTW12 is the upgrade of LIS2DW12, so I suggest you the use of the LIS2DTW12. Regards

Is it true that the LIS2DW12TR has lower noise density than the LIS2DW12 ?

The figures in the datasheets are exactly the same.

Thanks @Eleon BORLINI, basically the problem is that there is not enough stock of LIS2DTW12, so we will have to use the LIS2DW12.

I understand. How many samples do you need if I can ask? Regards

Depending on your specific application, I would believe LIS2DW12 should work as well, because the two pn are very similar. Regards

    Hi @Eleon BORLINI ,

Both parts seem to have the temperature sensor and having the same pinpout/configuration.

Can we read the temperature information from LIS2DW12?
