what is the effect of mechanical shock and vibration on MotionFX sensor fusion library. What can go wrong if mems sensors placed on a cricket bat undergoing 30g force for few millis when ball hits the bat?

Hi,

first of all what is your final applications?

I see several problems:

• Most of the sensors has maximum range 16g so they want be able correctly measure 30g
• I think the acceleration during the hit could be even higher than 30g, it will be very sharp high peak
• If the sensor is not able to measure correctly the acceleration the sensor fusion won't be able to follow device position
• The MotionFX is not designed for such a high acceleration so I think I will also filter high peaks
