0693W00000FCHaeQAH.pngHi,

We are trying to measure total current of LIS2DTW12TR. We have circuit board which according to schematic in details. We have 60uA when we measure the current flowing on CN34.  But in the application notes of LIS2DW12 ( i know it is a different model, but i assume the logic is same ) after it completes boot procedure it will go power-down mode. And according to datasheet it must consume 50nA in power-down mode. Maybe it is because of soldering isn't proper, we don't know.

Do you have any ideas?

Best Regards.

Hi, note that in the datasheet p.4 there is this statement: SDO/SA0 and CS pins are internally pulled up. Refer to Table 2. Internal pull-up values (typ.) for SDO/SA0 and CS pins for the internal pull-up values (typ).

You connected the pin to GND, so you will see the current flowing through the p.u. resistor.

    Hi,

Thanks for your replay. We have changed our design, we will try like this as soon as when the new pcb arrives.

    Best regards.
