Why is negative threshold half of expected in a LIS2HH12 accelerometer?

I'm using a LIS2HH12 accelerometer. I have discovered that when setting a threshold value, the negative threshold is half of what I expect. For instance, writing 0x01 to a threshold register I expect the threshold to be 8mg. This is true for positive values, but for negative values the threshold is 4mg.

Have anyone else experienced this? Am I missing something here?

hi @ATorn​ , are you referring to the IG_THS_X thresholds? Are you considering the value as unsigned integer? Regards
